Ski in the Altiplano

This is our standout experience. Come explore with your skis or snowboard the high snowy peaks that we can find in the Chilean desert. Just only a few minutes from the border with Bolivia we can find the Parinacota Volcano (6.380 mt)  Come and get to know it up close, climb the summit (if you want) and ski it from it. We will meet local people, their traditions, more volcanoes in the area to explore and ride, all of them at more than 5,000 meters. Come and discover the magic that the the Altiplano have to offer us.

Logistic

We will fly to Arica. We will drive 4 hours until we enter the desert, where we will reach 3,600 meters where we will spend the next 10 days in some cozy local cabins, with a perfect location and llamas and alpacas within the property.

We will have enough days to acclimatize, and begin to feel our body at altitude. Daily activities such as walks, getting to know local communities, natural hot springs and more.

Depending on how the group is feeling, we will make decisions about which volcanoes to go to and what plans to take. Day by day.

We will be with local guides and a host guide so that you have incredible attention during the 10 days of the trip. The best time to go is April - May.

This is an expedition for intermediate ski and snowboard levels. We adapt to the level of the group and listen to their travel objectives and we work to offer you a unique experience in the altiplanic desert.
